Bunny

On the surface, “Bunny” looks like an innocent stuffed animal, until the materials are revealed —“Bunny” is made with girl’s underwear and bra padding. My decision to put such private fabrics on full display reflects the hazardous reality of child sweatshop workers, who sacrifice their childhood for meager pay and extreme hours to survive. The toy has no face, representing the loss of childhood experienced when working in harsh conditions. What one child views as a commodity may have originated from the tears of another.
